Backflushing
Backflushing is the group-cleaning process that keeps coffee tasting great. If your group has a solenoid or relief valve, regular backflushing helps keep that mechanical part clean.
You will need a good quality cleaning product, a cleaning brush and a blind filter. Always follow your machine manufacturer's instructions, and ask a technician if you are unsure about a cleaning cycle.
